Under the vast, unpolluted skies of the Karoo, I found more than just stars — I found purpose.

My journey into astronomy didn’t start in a classroom. It started with curiosity… standing outside at night, looking up, and wondering. The deeper I looked, the more I realised the night sky isn’t just something to observe — it’s something to experience. Every constellation, every planet, every faint glow in the distance tells a story that connects us to something far bigger than ourselves. That sense of wonder is what keeps me going, night after night.

The Karoo became the perfect place for that passion to grow. Its silence, its darkness, its raw beauty — there’s nothing quite like it. Places like Prince Albert and the surrounding landscapes offer some of the clearest skies in the world, and I knew I had to share that with others. What started as a personal passion turned into Night Sky Tours — a way to bring people closer to the universe in one of the most magical settings imaginable.

What makes my tours different is simple: they’re personal, immersive, and real. This isn’t a scripted lecture or a quick look through a telescope. It’s a journey. I take the time to connect you with the sky — whether it’s pointing out Saturn’s rings, helping you navigate using the stars, or sharing ancient stories passed down through generations. Small groups, relaxed atmosphere, and a deep respect for the night make each experience unique.

For me, it’s not just about showing you the stars. It’s about helping you feel them — to leave with a sense of awe, perspective, and a story you’ll carry long after the night ends.
